The purpose of a statewide articulation agreement is to identify the courses a student at a Colorado public community college must complete as part of an AA/AS degree to be guaranteed to be able to complete the designated baccalaureate degree program at any public four-year college and university (hereafter referred to as receiving institutions) that offers that program within the minimum number of credits designated by the Colorado Commission on Higher Education.

Program Outcomes
- Apply main theoretical perspectives (functionalism, conflict, symbolic interaction) to a given social issue.
- Identify basic methodological approaches and describe the process of research in building sociological knowledge.
- Explain the role of socialization in the process of the development of the self and as it relates to social patterns.
- Give examples of the effects of social inequality, particularly in regards to race, class, and gender.

- *This course requires college level readiness as measured by Accuplacer, ACT, or SAT scores; approved high school course work that is less than five years old; or successful completion of appropriate college-readiness course.
- AAA 1001 – College 101: Student Experience is required for all new college students seeking degrees or transfer.

- Electives: Select from any GT course, AAA 1001 , AAA 1009 , ACC 1021 , ACC 1022 , BUS 1015 , BUS 2016 , BUS 2017 , BUS 2026 , CIS 1018 , COM 1150 , COM 2220 , CSC 1060 , CSC 1061 , ENG 1031 (or higher), HNR 1000 , HNR 2089 , HWE 1060 , HWE 1065 , MAT 1240 (or higher), any Foreign Language course (including ASL) numbered 1011 or higher, or any course in the following prefixes except Special Topics, Independent Study, Capstone, and Internships: ANT, ART, BIO (1000 or above), CHE, HIS, HUM, LIT, MUS, PED, PHI, PHY (1000 or above), POS, PSY, SOC.

- In order to meet program requirements, students registered for ENG 1021 or ENG 1031 must also register for ENG 0094 unless they can demonstrate otherwise meeting the ENG 0094 standard through assessment testing, prior college coursework, or recent High School coursework. - In-person at ACC: SOC 2005 & SOC 2018 are offered alternating fall semesters. SOC 2031 is offered each spring. CCC Online offerings vary.
- Mathematics GT-MA1 (Recommend MAT 1260 ) EXCEPT Adams State University requires MAT 1340 , Colorado Mesa University and Western State Colorado University require MAT 1240 or MAT 1340 .
